If you’re new to Wicked Chic Designs, let me be the first to welcome you! My name is Mikaela Concepcion, but you can call me Mik. I’m beyond excited that you’re here! I can’t wait to share with you a little bit about myself.
Meet Mikaela
I currently work as a full-time accountant, but I’m an aspiring designer and business owner. My dream, along with my husband, is to build a profitable real estate portfolio.
But business aside, I’d love to share a little about myself, so you can get to know me better!
All About Me:
I’m 50% Italian and I used to understand a bit of Italian when I was a kid.
I survived a sailboat crash where we collided with another boat and started taking on water (Luckily, everyone on board survived!).
I was voted class angel in high school.
I’m a Leo, and my personality type is INFJ.
My husband I met using a dating app.
I could subsist off mac n’ cheese, dinosaur chicken nuggets, and ice cream.
I named my dog, Layla, after the Eric Clapton song.

About Wicked Chic Designs
Wicked Chic Designs was born as a result of a personal home renovation project. Shortly into the process, I fell in love with the idea of creating truly unique spaces, knowing that no carbon copy exists.
I created this blog to share my design journey and inspire and build confidence in others interested in design.
Aside from sharing photos from my personal home renovation, I’ll be sharing renovation work related to rehabbing rental properties, some of which will be severely distressed and unlivable.
